Town see off Moreton to reach Cheshire Cup second round

Bollington Town booked their place in the next round of the Cheshire Cup with a dominant 4-1 win over Moreton Football Club. A relentless high press forced Moreton into mistake after mistake, which Town ruthlessly punished, restricting the visitors to just a single chance all game — an unforced error gifted them their only goal. Xavi Llorente's first two goals for the club either side of strikes from George Richardson and Alex Howarth completed a comfortable afternoon.
